OPDAG is for Artists and Collectors!

Founded in 1984, OPDAG, The Original Paper Doll Artists Guild, is an organization of people who exchange ideas to encourage the art and hobby of paper dolls in the world today.

Our full color quarterly magazine is filled with paper dolls by today's artists. For those interested in drawing paper dolls, this is a great place to show your work. Both amateur and professional art is displayed at no cost to members.

Collectors of paper dolls have a unique opportunity to see lots of paper dolls shown exclusively in our pages. Many of our artist members sell their work and offer limited edition paper dolls.

Our Magazine

In 2021, OPDAG merged with Paperdoll Review!

Each full color issue will contain a theme and subscribers are welcome to create paper dolls to suit each theme. Both amateur and professional art is displayed at no cost to members. Our colorful issues include features such as:

Theme related article
Tons of paper dolls by artists of today
Contemporary artist features
Drawing tips & how-to's
Fashion history
Paper doll party and convention information

Most back issues are $8 each for US residents, and a 4-issue subscription is $28.

Cover art shown here by Andrea Smith, David Wolfe, Diana E. Vining and Valerie Keller.

The artist paper doll shown in our heading is by Marilyn Henry, editor of our sister magazine, Paperdoll Review.
