In 1985, OPDAG introduced it's first themed edition. A theme was offered for each subsequent issue to inspire artists to create new paper dolls for display in the newsletter. Since then we've covered a multitude of topics from ancient civilizations to fashions of the future. Early issues are out of print, but lots of back issues are available from paperdollreview.com.
In 2020, OPDAG's Paper Doll Studio merged with Paperdoll Review.
